Canon launches Canon S820 bubble jet printer

Canon India, a company dealing in imaging technology, has launched the S820 bubble jet printer in the Indian market. Priced Rs 22,995, the S820 is the first of its kind printer to facilitate A4 size borderless printing in less than three minutes. This printer is targeted at professional users like photographers and digital printers. 

The borderless printing on the S820 is due to the high 2400 dpi resolution, brilliant color ink and the ultra fine 4 picol liter ink droplet feature incorporated in the Canon S820. Additionally, Canon's exclusive Canon Photo Paper Pro helps lend an immemorial touch to the pictures ensuring that the color shades last for upto 25 years. The Canon Think Tank Technology enables replacement of color ink tanks separately, saving running cost.

Canon S820 printer can read image data relevant to shooting conditions like white balance, exposure. The printer is ideal for Photo Printing, booklet, banner and poster printing for indoor usage. A 35 mm Film Scanner can be added on to the Canon S820, which can convert 35 mm negatives into positives and store them on one's computer for printing photographs on A4 paper.

The printer comes with a printer driver which has built in facilities like Vivid Photo and a Photo & Image Optimizer to produce exceptionally brilliant printouts. The printer's Monochrome Effects convert standard photograph to sepia hue for special effects. Additionally, the Page set-up tool allows booklet, banner and poster printing . For the user's convenience, the Zoom Browser EX/ Photo Record software helps organize pictures into select individual folders. The Photo stitch software can bundle different images into a single picture and the 3-D photo software makes it possible to create 3D effects for pictures.

The S820 is compatible with Microsoft Windows/98/Millennium Edition/2000/Windows XP and Mac OS8.5 to OSX
USB.

The printer is available in all Canon outlets across the country.
