Canon India held its ‘first digital camera meet’ in Delhi

with around 170 partners attending the show. "It was a delayed meet in

Delhi with an intention to optimize the num-ber of partners on board and the

result turned out to be in our favour," quoted the com-pany release.

The show started with well structured and informative

presentations from Moin Mushtaque, RM (Operations volume) and Shyam Sunder,

Manager (Digicam Products), where Mushtaque showcased and encompassed aspects


on Canon Global and Canon India focus on digicam business.

Sunder talked about Canon Arsenal and strengths in digital

world. This was a joint meet for both the IT and photo channels. The company

release stated, "We did send some structured invites to around 75 dealers

in photo segment and some 55 dealers in IT segment. The intention was to invite

all partners who are on board and add to the occasion few prospective and

serious partners, yet to join hands with Canon."

It showcased its entire product range with A300, A70, IXUS

400, IXUS i, EOS 300D, S830D, CP200 and CP300 with open hands on session for all

interested. Canon also displa-yed the retail stuff for the partners to

experience the kind of outlets and stuff it is looking forward to create in the

photospace and had the glowsign boards and tran-slides on display.
