“Canon grows with the growth of Channel partners”

Canon, one of the leading brands in printers and scanner segment, said that the channel partners play crucial role in making the company one of the leading brands in India. Canon said that partners’ growth has facilitated continuous growth of Canon India.

Continuing its series, The DQ Week reached to the historic city of “Maratha Holkar dynasty” in Madhya Pradesh with its flagship event “Tech Caravan.” The DQ Week Tech Caravan event was organized in Indore in association with Canon, NNR IT and TechBzar.com. Tech Caravan which was stormed in Indore for the first time, received overwhelming response from the IT partners.

The event kick started with presentation by Canon, associate sponsor of the Tech Caravan. Canon unveiled four brand new models and showcased its plethora of offerings in Single function and Multi-function Laser printers.

Ratneshwar Jha, Regional Business Manager, Channel Sales, Consumer System Products Group, launched four Premium All-in-One printers, in the event namely: MF221D (with duplex), MF217W (with wireless), MF226DN (duplex and network) and MF229DW (with wireless).

He presented PIXMA E460 series which was most affordable Ink Efficient Wireless All-In-One printer. He also presented LiDE 120, a compact flatbed scanner with SEND to cloud function. Jha said that by positioning these products, partners could earn good margins. He said that the new offerings aim to target home users, SOHO and corporate segment.

Post Canon presentation, Chandrakant, representative of NNR IT, Global Distributor of Max Secure Antivirus, introduced Max Secure Antivirus, Internet Security, Mobile Security and Total security products. Talking about customer support by the vendor and the distributor, he said that the company provided 24×7 online support to users. On the query regarding multi user license key, he said that the company offers a separate CD and separate license key were available for multi users.

The DQ Week also informed partners about its new initiative-TechBzar. DQ Week has recently launched a B2B portal-TechBzar.com to assist channel partners to increase their visibility on online platform. The DQ Week appealed partners to register themselves on TechBzar absolutely free of cost and maximize their business.

There was good response from partners in the event. Around 45 unique partners participated in the event with total 70 plus people present in the event. There were few queries which were promptly addressed by the representatives of Canon and NNR IT during networking over dinner.
