To further expand its foothold in India, the company intends to open more such service centres to provide better customer experience and after sales support of Canon consumers and office products for both walk-in and on-site customers.

Canon service centres reinforce the brand's endeavor towards establishing a strong connect with customers and the launch of a 650 square feet service centre at Jai Singh Highway, Bani Park in Jaipur is a testimony to such a commitment. This 19th Service Centre is been set up through an authorized franchisee. Canon has established multiple centers to improve ‘Same Day Fix' of repairs and increase ‘Turn around Time'. With this new center, the customer queries which took six days to get resolved, will now only take less than three days and the customer will get a complete solution for their query within this period. The three-day short duration of resolving a customer query, in turn will help increase Canon's good-will amongst existing customers and open opportunity for tapping new customers.

Speaking on the occasion, Alok Bharadwaj, executive VP, Canon India, said, "Interest in photography continues to be on a rise, digital SLR, lenses and high end digital compact camera continue to be our main drivers for growth. Proximity of service of international standard is vital for customers' loyalty and at Canon, we are proud to announce the expansion of our service network in the state of Rajasthan, which is a significant step in meeting Canon's plans of expanding its service network across India.
