Getting aggressive in its expansion policies and conÂcenÂtrating on enhancing
its channel presence across East, Caltron recently organized a dealer meet in
Bhubneshwar to enhance its popularity among the channel community.
“We started BhubÂneshwar operations in March this year, and within a short
span of time, we have acheived a turnover of Rs 1 crore on MoM basis. We have
signed an exclusive deal with Dell as their distributor for Orissa for their
Vostro range. With Belkin, we hope to take Caltron to a new high,” said PL
Suhasaria, CEO, Caltron.
Enhancing its business strategy with HP, Caltron has increased its focus on
HP printers in the Orissa market besides signing up with Samsung as their
regional distributor for Orissa.

Getting aggressive about its presence, Caltron is in the mode to expand its
branches further and consolidate its channel base, particularly in the upcountry
market.
The decision to enter upcountry came in after the company realized the
channel potential in the upcountry markets.
“We have excellent relationships in the Orissa market with partners and know
the region very well. Presently, we have aligned with 130 dealers in the state
and the region seems more promising. Bhubneshwar was the only market which had
maintained a steady growth rate despite the slowdown,” he added. Besides, the
company is concentrating on Siliguri, Patna and Jamshedpur to enhance its focus
on the upcountry.
