Interwise and CA Satyam ASP (C&S) have entered into a partnership agreement that will enable C&S to offer the Interwise Enterprise Communications Platform (ECP) in India. C&S will offer Interwise ECP to customers requiring a cost-effective means of cross-organizational communication.
Interwise ECP was chosen by C&S due to its comprehensive and scalable platform for delivering live and on-demand communications over the Internet. Companies garner huge cost savings and reduce IT support requirements by using the consolidated Interwise ECP to conduct interactive discussions including personal counseling through iMentoring, group collaboration through Meetings, virtual learning via iClass, seminar-style events through iSeminars and broadcasting to thousands via the iCast mode.
"The liberation of the Indian Government's policy regarding voice transmission over the Internet will open new opportunities for Internet-based communications solutions," said Ninad Karpe, CEO, C&S. "Enterprise communications investments will certainly be a key IT investment among Indian enterprises in 2002, especially as Indian enterprises are increasingly going global. We are very excited to be working with Interwise to distribute the ECP in the Indian market", he added.
C&S is a joint venture between Computer Associates International, Inc and Satyam Computers of India. Interwise helps organizations address the communications challenges presented by business environments, global marketplaces and geographically dispersed stakeholders. Interwise ECP is a single platform for live collaboration, communications and
eLearning.
