Byond launches 7 inch Mi-Book Mi7 tablet for Rs 11,499

Byond has launched another tablet in the Mi-Book series the Mi-Book Mi7, priced at Rs 11,499.

The Mi-Book Mi7 sports a 7 inch capacitive touch screen with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and runs on Android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. It features a 2 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera as well. It supports 1080p video recording.

The tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor with 512 MB RAM. It has in built 4 GB of internal storage that can further be extended to 32 GB using micro SD card space.

The device comes with various pre-installed applications like Facebook, Angry Birds, Temple Run, Adobe Reader and more. Connectivity options on the tablet include Wi-Fi (with hotspot) and Bluetooth apart from 2G and 3G calling support. The tablet comes with a 3200 mAh battery.

The tablet will be available with online retailers and other distributors across the country.
