BSNL holds SIM card lottery in Bihar

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has decided to distribute the Excel pre paid
SIM cards by lottery in Bihar in view of the high demand. There is acute
shortage of SIM cards as there are 8,000 applicants but BSNL has only 4,000 SIM
cards in its possession. According to company officials, BSNL plans to
distribute Excel pre paid SIM cards by lottery next month. Names of all the
applicants for SIM cards will be saved in computer then through lottery first
4,000 would be given the SIM cards. BSNL is likely to distribute it after August
15.
