Brocade targets Indian SAN market

Brocade Communica-tions Systems, Inc has announced that it has established
new offices in New Delhi and Mumbai, to address the growing regional market
requirements for Storage Area Network (SAN) products and expertise in deploying
network storage infrastructure in IT data centers.

The company also announ-ced that Shyam Gopal has been named Country Manager
for India. Based in Delhi, he is responsible for managing the company's
business operat-ions and sales and marketing activities in the region.

According to the press release, Brocade plans to offer its comprehensive SAN
educa-tion in India. This education program includes the high-value Brocade
Certified SAN Professional program, and the unique SAN Health tool, which is a
diagnostic utility that documents and monitors IT resources in a SAN fabric.
