Best Power Equipments (BPE) has entered into a strategic partnership

with Cyberstar Infocom, one of the leading distributors of IT

peripherals. With an initial target of Rs 25 crore for the fiscal

year 2010-11, BPE is all set to reach out to the small resellers as

well as large SIs through this partnership.

Speaking to the The DQ Week, Sanjeev Rawat,

GM-Channel Sales, BPE said, "We already have 175 channel

partners working across the nation. With this new venture, the

company is expected to cross a milestone of 500 channel partners in

the current year. With this tie-up, we will be able to offer our

innovative power backup products and solutions to our customers at

large.”

BPE has tied-up with

Cyberstar Infocom for the distribution of its entire range of

line-interactive and online UPS throughout the country. Cyberstar

reaches out to more than 3,700 channel partners, spread across 35

locations in the country.

According to Rawat, BPE is

expected to roll out promotional campaigns in coordination with the

distributor in the near future. "We are planning to conduct

promotional programs, roadshows and similar activities from time to

time after getting feedback from Cyberstar," said Rawat.

On asking about the post

sales support, Rawat said, that the company is working out a strategy

along with Cyberstar to offer post sales technical support as well as

hand-on training to the channel partners. However, through its

distribution network, Cyberstar also offers customized marketing

programs, and pre-and-post sales support services to facilitate

vendors. BPE has also bagged a multi-crore power backup equipment

supply contract for the upcoming Commonwealth Games from the Delhi
