Delhi-based UPS vendor,
Best Power Equipments (BPE) has entered into a strategic partnership
with Cyberstar Infocom, one of the leading distributors of IT
peripherals. With an initial target of Rs 25 crore for the fiscal
year 2010-11, BPE is all set to reach out to the small resellers as
well as large SIs through this partnership.
Speaking to the The DQ Week, Sanjeev Rawat,
GM-Channel Sales, BPE said, "We already have 175 channel
partners working across the nation. With this new venture, the
company is expected to cross a milestone of 500 channel partners in
the current year. With this tie-up, we will be able to offer our
innovative power backup products and solutions to our customers at
large.”
BPE has tied-up with
Cyberstar Infocom for the distribution of its entire range of
line-interactive and online UPS throughout the country. Cyberstar
reaches out to more than 3,700 channel partners, spread across 35
locations in the country.
According to Rawat, BPE is
expected to roll out promotional campaigns in coordination with the
distributor in the near future. "We are planning to conduct
promotional programs, roadshows and similar activities from time to
time after getting feedback from Cyberstar," said Rawat.
On asking about the post
sales support, Rawat said, that the company is working out a strategy
along with Cyberstar to offer post sales technical support as well as
hand-on training to the channel partners. However, through its
distribution network, Cyberstar also offers customized marketing
programs, and pre-and-post sales support services to facilitate
vendors. BPE has also bagged a multi-crore power backup equipment
supply contract for the upcoming Commonwealth Games from the Delhi
government.
