Blue Star, Datastream partner for EAM solns

Blue Star Infotech (BSI), global provider of software
solutions and IT consultancy, has ann-ounced a partnership with Datastream, USA.
Headquar-tered in Santa Clara, USA, Datastream offers asset mana-gement
functionality to deliver a platform for optimizing enterprise asset performance.

BSI and Datastream toge-ther plan to address industry
verticals like process manufac-turing, pharma and petro-chemicals, oil and gas
explo-rations, healthcare and hospi-tality in India. BSI has already bagged an
order from ING Vysya Bank, Bangalore for the implementation of Datast-ream's
Enterprise Asset Mana-gement (EAM) Solution - 'MP2'.

According to the press release, BSI's experience in the
enterprise solutions space for the manufacturing industry should enable both
partners to bring the best-of-breed solu-tions in preventive and predictive
asset maintenance systems to quality conscious manufacturers. This will ensure
production uptime and consistent product quality, which in turns translates to
improved customer service and market share.
