BICSI Concludes 2018 India Technology Conference with Resounding Success

BICSI concluded the BICSI India District Technology Conclave 2018. The distinctive platform for ICT professionals to stay abreast of fast-evolving digital transformation in the industry attracted over 350+ attendees and showcased latest advancements in ICT, evolving standards, ICT skill development, trends and best practices in design & installation. The conference offered immense networking opportunities to help technology leaders exchange knowledge and gain insights on emerging technology and its challenges.

“Technology evolution in the enterprise environment has never been more intense, therefore, it is critical that ICT leaders are adept about handling diverse enterprise workloads and optimize resources for greater efficiency and agility,” said Ninad Desai, District Chair, BICSI India. BICSI conclave offers extensive learning opportunities to ICT professionals and equips them with latest updates and skills to shape up the networks of future, he added.

A list of eminent speakers bestowed the conclave by their presence and shared premier business technology presentations, insights, case studies and opinions. A record number of ICT professionals, experienced more than 12 technology sessions.

The conference opened with a welcome speech by Ninad Desai, District Chair, BICSI India, as he highlighted BICSIs role in building stronger connections among ICT architects and forward thinkers. Paul Weintraub, RCDD, RTPM, ESS, TECH, CAE, Vice President of Global Development & Support, BICSI, ascertained the ICT landscape and how BICSI is catalyzing the growth of ICT industry and strengthening the professional community.

Dr. Gulshan Rai, National Cyber Security Coordinator, Prime Minister's Office, Government of India: shared his thoughts, highlighting, The Digital India Vision and why it is important for ICT professionals to be equipped with new skills and knowledge to effectively contribute to a digitally empowered India.

Delivering the vote of thanks, Kasi Visweswaran, District Vice Chair, BICSI India, presented an all - round perspective of BICSI and how it has served as a marveling platform to nurture ICT skill, learning & innovation.

Kiran K Katariya, RCDD, shared his views on: how to stay relevant in the fast changing ICT world, while Ashok Srinivasan, RCDD, Technical Director, India-SAARC Region, CommScope Solutions India Pvt Ltd, focussed on advanced ICT infrastructure solutions and the way it is transforming commercial buildings from intelligent to smart.

Atul Deshpande, Account Manager (Enterprise-Data Centers-Hyper-scales) and Solution Consultant (5G-NBIoT- RF Test), India-SAARC Region, VIAVI Solutions, presented interesting insights on structured cabling testing. Chandrashekar G, National Technical Manager - Technology and Applications, Belden India Pvt Ltd, illustrated, how enterprise buildings are evolving into digital buildings.
