Protesting against poor after sales services and warranty issues of iball, IT retailers in Bhusawal have unanimously decided not to promote iball products in the city. Computer Dealer and Professionals Association of Bhusawal (CDPA-Bhusawal) has allegedly appealed its members not to encourage sales of iball products till the company solves warranty and replacement issues.
IT retailers have displayed stickers in their shops which states “We don’t promote iball due to poor services.”
Nilesh Patil, president of CDPA-Bhusawal said, “We have been receiving several complaints regarding service issues of iball. There is no proper support from the company. We do not get replacement in time and also there is no proper communication about the delay in services. Therefore, we decided not to suggest iball products to customers.”
Dinesh Patil, owner of Optic Computer said that retailers receive flaks from customers for service issues as they sell the products. He said that the company should immediately take the necessary actions and improve its customer support system as it was not only hampering their business also damaging company’s reputation.
DQ Week tried to contact representatives of iball, however, there was no revert from the concern authorities till filing the story.
Mr. Nilesh Patil said that the association has several rounds of talks with the representatives of iball and the company has committed to look into service issues. However, Mr. Patil said that they have not got any written confirmation from iball yet. He said that the association was in constant touch with the company and wanted to resolve the issue as early as possible.
