The DQWeek reached Bhubaneshwar, the Temple City of India. The entire landscape is dotted with temples marking as landmarks towards a bygone era when temple building activities flourished in this city.
The modern city with broad roads, extensive infrastructure and modern buildings complements the traces of history that are scattered in and around this rapidly developing city. Tech caravan reached Bhubaneshwar whose agenda was to showcase the product offerings of Microsoft and Uniline along with shedding light on the critical issues faced by the IT partners. Held at Hotel Sun Green in Satya Nagar, the meet was conducted on 9th May and witnessed around 30 partners who turned up to bring the event to a success.
The event was initiated with a comprehensive and informative presentation by Ashutosh Pal, Cloud Relationship Manager, Microsoft who deftly made the complex concept of cloud technology easy to understand and execute. The presentation was summed up with the offerings of Microsoft Office 365 and how channel partners can make use of these innovative offerings to fuel their growth. With questions addressed by the partners, Pal gave pointed and satisfactory answers to resolve the doubts and queries.
This successful session paved the way for Uniline's session by SB.Mahapatra, GM who gave a detailed presentation on the range of UPS product offerings by Uniline. Similar to Microsoft's cloud offerings Uniline also focused on its Online UPS which was much talked about with enthusiasm. The solar UPS was the second area of interest for the partners present in the meet.
The two vital sessions were rounded off subsequent to which Arun Kumar Dey, President, IT Association of Odisha(ITAO) took to the podium to discuss the issues plaguing the IT market. He highlighted on the association's initiative to formulate five business development committees to make the business execution of partner committee smooth and stress free. The five committees include business development committee for retail, government, distribution, consumer relation and recovery for solutions.
The interactive session was much appreciated following which the partners involved themselves in enjoying the dinner spread while making themselves aware of new product initiatives in ardent discussions with the vendors.
