Chennai-based BharatMatrimony.com, a long standing and comprehensive matrimonial portal, with a database of about 50,000 registered members, has entered into an alliance with Rediff.com India, to provide online matrimonial services to users worldwide.
"The association with Rediff.com is a crucial part of our strategy to get existing online surfers on to BharatMatrimony.com. BharatMatrimony.com has experienced tremendous growth in the last three years, and it is now important to make that growth sustainable by tapping high traffic sites like Rediff.com. We are looking at having 90,000 registered members by March 2002," said S Suresh, Business Development Manager,

The two companies will also be looking at extending this relationship to online promotions and other traffic generating events.
