Belkin unveils new warranty policy

Belkin India has introduced Connected Equipment Warranty (CEW) policy. The

company also offers 'connected device warranty' support equivalent to Rs 50,000

and Rs 1,00,000 for devices connected to its 'Superior' and 'Gold' surge product

lines, respectively.

"Power outages and spikes are a common phenomenon in India, and sometimes the

damage caused to electrical equipment is irreversible. Belkin with its CEW is

ready to shoulder the responsibility of a consumer's home or office appliances

while they are connected to our surge protectors," said Mohit Anand, Country

Manager-India, Belkin Asia Pacific.

"Belkin's CEW promise has generated tremendous purchase confidence in

consumers," said Sanath Babu of Sri Durga who is Belkin's Chennai distributor.
