Bartronics India ties up with LG Electronics

Bartronics India Ltd (BIL) recently signed an agreement with LG Electronics,
USA to enable it to deploy LG's Iris recognition product - LG IrisAccess as part
of its Biometrics suite of solutions.

According to a company statement, these products will be primarily used in
access control applications and BIL can deploy the same in Europe, Middle East,
Africa and South Asia - including India and Singapore.

LG selected Bartronics considering its enterprise scale T&A, access control
solution capability and the existing customer base.

This tie-up will endure that Bartronics has the entire range of T&A and
access control products and solutions starting from bar code based solutions to
MiFare, fingerprint and now Iris recognition.

This technology is significant in high security environments like defence, IT
data centers, control rooms and government institutions amongst others.
