Avaya appoints Hrishi Parthasarathy as channels director

Avaya announced the appointment of Hrishi Parthasarathy as the company's director, channels. Parthasarathy joins Avaya with 15 years experience in the IT industry, and he brings deep experience in running large scale channel driven businesses. Apart from partnerships and alliances, he also has a special focus on designing effective GTMs for emerging markets, incubating new solution areas and practices, and driving geographical expansion strategies.

"Having enjoyed a very successful stint at Microsoft, Parthasarathy joins us with a proven track record & credibility, and enjoys trusted advisor relationships with many partners and distributors in the country. In his last role at Microsoft, he was responsible for a team that managed top SI alliances, driving enterprise solutions and services on the Microsoft platform. His roles at Microsoft included, beginning with distribution, running partner programs and strategy, sales operations and leading Microsoft's SMB business for India," said Rajeev Mittal, MD, Avaya India.

Prior to his stint at Microsoft (which lasted 10+ years), Parthasarathy also worked with Sutherland Global Services in international sales and marketing, and began his career with Redington India.

Parthasarathy is a Chartered Accountant by training and would be based at the Avaya Bengaluru office.
