SUSTek Inc has opened its first dedicated service center
here, to provide after sales support to its notebook users directly.
Speaking at the opening function, Sujit Chowdhury, Service
Manager, ASUS India said, "ASUS not only manufactures best quality products
but also promises best quality service. This service centre will become a role
model for the industry in terms of responsiveness to queries, assurance of
quality service and empathy to customer queries. All these factors would lead to
'Customer Satisfaction' in the true sense of the word."
The service center would be a point of direct contact between
the notebook end user and the company. It would serve as not only a servicing
hub, but also a location where the customer would be able to experience the
maximum potential of his product.
The company feels that by opening a direct service center,
the value addition to the notebook customers would be enhanced. In all ASUS
products, the company follows adheres to its global standards of customer
service and has an exclusive website for customer support. Notebook customers
have to register with the company as a Global Service Member (GSM). This would
entitle the customers to be eligible for a two years' international warranty.
The service center would significantly reduce the time required for servicing
the notebook. In certain common cases the repair time would be as low as two
hours, the company said.
Currently nine models of ASUS notebooks are available in
India.
