ASUS appoints Redington as National Distributor

ASUS has announced the appointment of Redington as a national distributor for its Component Business. Redington will now handle distribution for ASUS motherboards and optical drives across the country along with ASUS' existing distributor Rashi Peripherals. The decision to appoint Redington was taken keeping in mind the customer demand, channel expansion and strategic plans of the company. ASUS now aims to tap a newer market base, verticals and channel base with this strategic appointment.

About the new development, Vinay Shetty, country head, Component Business, ASUS (India) said, "Redington is a very respected and established name in IT distribution in the country and we're pleased to have them onboard as a national distributor for our motherboards and optical drives business. Along with their expertise, reach and support we're confident of growing our business and having a wider reach and partner base."

With 56 branches across the country, Redington would help extend the reach of Asus' Intel platform products to Indian IT customers, businesses and consumers.

In the coming months ASUS will be conducting various roadshows and channel programs to create awareness in the channel about the new development.
