ASIRT conducts second TechEDGE day

ASIRT had promised its members, SI and retailers, business opportunities and technical skills to move higher up the value chain. Twelve ASIRT Techdays and one ASIRT TechEDGE over the past year have made its members hungry for more technical pre-sales training.


Keeping in tune with such events, the association conducted its second ASIRT TechEDGE Day recently, which turned out to be a double bonanza for its members, and pre-sales consultants, as it included technical consultant training and evolution workshop on No Cost Branding in association with Parichay Brand Consultants.

Networking Case Studies - Technical and Pre-Sales Training

Netgear brought technical training case studies on networking in the verticals of healthcare, media and hospitality from challenges in each vertical to solution, design, BoQ preparation and implementation.


Netgear team took a step by step approach that explained problems in each vertical, what technologies are required to solve the problem, how to implement those technologies and which Netgear products can be used at each point. With booming construction industry and tens of millions of commercial spaces, hospital chains and hotels coming up in addition to further opening up of banking sector, networking market is supposed to continue booming even in a slowing economy. ASIRT brought its members closer to addressing this huge opportunity that is not to be missed. ASIRT members are now aiming at over 70% of market share in these networking projects coming up over next 3 years.

ASIRT members also learnt Netgear technologies in UTM, Core Switch, Floor Switch, Wireless and Storage solutions. Netgear not only promised extended after sales support but also offered proof of concept demonstration at customer location - even for their 240 TB storage systems. On special request of ASIRT, Netgear shall also impart technical training to desirous technical support staff of ASIRT members - free of cost, only for ASIRT members.

No Cost Branding Workshop


Brand guru Suneel Agarwal of the 'T with Suneel' fame enthralled the audience with a special evolve session- 'NO Cost Branding'. This being a long pending demand from members who attended his workshop on inaugural ASIRT Techday, and those who missed it. Owners of ASIRT member companies who could not make it to technical training also walked in at the event, one member walking in straight from the airport for this sure-shot not to miss workshop.

Suneel's 100 minute workshop not only gave members great working tips, but he even managed to evoke a laugh every minute. Members were in splits as Suneel took one after another hilarious situation that he steered to a branding activity and message. So subtle and yet so loud, Suneel's workshop was praised by one and all.

ASIRT Techday from this event onwards will be put up online, securely and only for ASIRT associate members - members outside Mumbai. For system integrators and partners across the country, this will be a boon as they will have access to quality workshops and technology sessions without having to travel to Mumbai. In past 1 year ASIRT has organized several such workshops for members in areas of Branding, Online marketing, sales, time management, Swear By The Deep Sea thought ignition workshop among many others as also training sessions on Cloud Computing, Networking, Security, Video solution, etc.
