Kshitij Kotak, president, ASIRT said, "We have achieved the most important breakthrough for the association and its members. We have managed to establish the credibility of ASIRT and its members in front of CIOs who regretted they did not know about ASIRT till date and have promised to ensure priority access and spread the word within the community of CIOs."

Through its Techday, the association has managed to create a channel to extend their reach into enterprise segment. Kotak said, "CIOs and CFOs were extremely frank and forthcoming and also expressed keenness to guide and speed up ASIRT members' preparedness to work with them."

Kotak said, "Members took back many learnings from CIOs; they were astonished when CIOs explained that they are always looking for trustworthy confidant, a man Friday, who can solve their business problems and guide them through technology maze. Not only that, but CIOs and CFOs may reject a vendor that quotes too low as they understand that their ability to fulfil SLA is suspected. CIOs emphasized that customer references are invaluable to them."
