Aptech, POC tie-up for ITES jobs

Aptech Computer Education has entered into a strategic alliance with People-One-Consulting (POC), a job consultant based in Bangalore, to facilitate the training needs of the growing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector.

Said Sandip Brahmankar, Placement Head, Aptech Computer Education, "There is a huge shortfall of trained professionals in the Call Center industry. By launching a job-ready course such as the ACPG-Call center specialization course, Aptech aims to provide specific training, which is usually done by Call Centers. Through this tie-up with POC, Aptech students will have an edge in procuring job opportunities in this segment."

Speaking on the tie-up, Ajit Issac, CEO, POC, said, "We have a huge requirement for trained manpower for multifarious positions in Call Centers, Transaction Processing centers and Technical Helpdesks in the ITES segment. Partnering Aptech for placements of its students who complete their ACPG- Call center specialization course will give us an opportunity to have access to a large pool of trained manpower."
