by Schneider Electric is planning to increase its partner base to 50
from existing 18 partners. It is also planning to train and increase
partners in data centers and professional services. The major
objective is to leverage the channel reach in order to tap the
3-phase IT mid-market space. The idea is to have at least two HPP
partners present in each state. Speaking to The DQ Week, Shrinivas
Chebbi , VP, India and Saarc, IT business, APC by Schneider Electric
said, “To tap the potential of 3-phase IT midmarket size in each
state, we will identify the type of industries present there. Then we
would identify and align partners, who are currently servicing these
industries.”
style="font-size: 13pt;" size="3">Meanwhile,
the company is also planning to add 20 partners in its Elite Data
Center partner program, and currently it has only 28 DC certified
partners across India. A new activity training o f 10,000 channel
partners has also started, which is aligned with the transaction
business of APC by Schneider. Chebbi further added on training of
10,000 partners, “There are 20,000 IT partners, whereas 10,000
partners are currently being addressed through our national
distributors. However, rest of the channel partners are not
addressable, as distributors doesn't extend commercial terms with
them. Through this program, we intend to bridge the gap.”

to one of the Bengaluru based APC partners, Jayesh Mehta, CEO, Future
Business Tech, said, “We are an enterprise partner and our
association with them is great. The way things are going in APC, we
look for mutual business with them. We are working for the cloud
matrix in 3 cases, and one of the agendas is to work very closely
with them.”
