by Schneider Electric is planning to increase its partner base to 50

from existing 18 partners. It is also planning to train and increase

partners in data centers and professional services. The major

objective is to leverage the channel reach in order to tap the

3-phase IT mid-market space. The idea is to have at least two HPP

partners present in each state. Speaking to The DQ Week, Shrinivas

said, “To tap the potential of 3-phase IT midmarket size in each

state, we will identify the type of industries present there. Then we

would identify and align partners, who are currently servicing these

industries.”

the company is also planning to add 20 partners in its Elite Data

Center partner program, and currently it has only 28 DC certified

partners across India. A new activity training o f 10,000 channel

partners has also started, which is aligned with the transaction

business of APC by Schneider. Chebbi further added on training of

10,000 partners, “There are 20,000 IT partners, whereas 10,000

partners are currently being addressed through our national

distributors. However, rest of the channel partners are not

addressable, as distributors doesn't extend commercial terms with

them. Through this program, we intend to bridge the gap.”
