American Power Conversion (APC), a leading power conditioning solution provider, has bagged the PC Quest Users Choice Award 2000 in the UPS category. The company is receiving this award for the fifth consecutive year.
Meanwhile, the company has conducted a promotional scheme in Chennai titled-- Uninterrupted Power - Uninterrupted Fun, from 7 - 14 September in important locations such as Landmark, Food World, Spencer's Plaza, Arihant IT Mall and parts of Ritchie Street. The entertainment-cum-educative program is aimed at informing public the importance of UPS and to protect their valuable equipment from power damages.
Recently, APC has launched its APC Back-UPS AVR Pro model in the market with advanced features including `Power Shoot Plus' software and modem/telephone line protection port. The software helps to shut-down and re-boot system automatically in case of power failures. APC provides end-to-end solution covering corporate, business and home segments.

The results were based on an IMRB (Indian Market Research Bureau) poll and personal interviews conducted across 11 cities that include Ahmedabad, Pune, Cochin, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Patna, Lucknow and the four metros, with a test group size of 2700 respondents. The four factors that the respondents were to choose from were price, quality, service and reliability.
The Cyber Media Group institutionalized the PC Quest User's Choice Awards in 1998.
