in the production of innovation-led monitors has launched its 'Razor'
series of monitors. As the LED monitors market is hotting up with the
increased competition, the vendors are striving to push innovations
with stylish and trendy displays. BenQ has recently revamped its 'V'
series with 1.5 cm thickness. With a super slim and sleek look, AOC's
new 'Razor' series (with a thickness of 1.23 cm) are now available in
the Indian market in 18.5 inch and 20 inch sizes. The company is
expected to launch two more products under the same series during the
next month. Speaking to The DQ Week, Jeetika Sharma,
Manager-Marketing, AOC said that AOC's new 'Razor' range is the
world's slimmest LED monitor. "Everybody is now shifting to
LED and we are in the process of converting 80 percent of our CCFL
LCD monitor segment sales to LED. This product is available in the
market through our 2,500 dealers spread across the country,"
said Sharma. 'Razor' offers its users, premium picture quality with
a dynamic contrast ratio of 50 million:1, by far the highest in the
industry. This super high DCR gives the finest image detail with a
greater depth, the company said. 'Razor' range offers special display
modes for text, Internet, games, movies and sports to meet different
viewing conditions.
The company also provides
bundled 'Screen+ software', which comes free with AOC Razor model.
This software is a desktop splitting tool, that splits the desktop
into different panes and each of it displays a different window. It
also supports multiple monitor display. AOC Razor comes with a piano
polish bezel with illuminating touch keys on the base. It offers not
just wall mount but also a tilt flexibility up to 20 degrees,
providing viewing ergonomics. According to Sharma, the new AOC Razor
facilitates green technology, with several power saving features like
ultra-low power consumption, off-timer mode, e-saver and power saving
functionalities. It also comes in an eco-friendly pack using 100
percent pulp mold. The bigger sizes of the product- 22 inch and 24
inch under this series are expected to be launched in October.
