Antec has launched the Veris series which includes the A/V cooler, a cooling
solution for home entertainment systems. The A/V cooler utilizes two fans to
stop heat from rising by rapidly blowing hot air away from media components,
preventing systems from overheating or damaging neighboring components of the
entertainment system.

The Veris series also features the Fusion Black 430, an updated version of
Antec's original Fusion home theater PC. It boasts an IR receiver compatible
with Microsoft Windows MCE and Vista to enable the use of a remote control. To
isolate fan noise and vibration, the Fusion Black's structure has a
triple-chamber design separating the 430-watt power supply, hard drives and
motherboard. In addition, hard drive brackets are fitted with silicone grommets
to absorb vibrations for quiet computing.

"As more and more people pursue the digital lifestyle, Antec allows users to
move their PCs to the living room to create and customize attractive home
multimedia systems," said Scott Richards, Senior VP, Antec. "The Veris line of
media components appeals not only to those who want to integrate computers into
their living room, but also to the wider group who are interested in maintaining
and upgrading their existing entertainment systems," he added.
