Antec Inc., the global leader in high-performance computer components and accessories for the gaming, PC upgrade and Do-It-Yourself markets, has further consolidated its channel base in India by successfully concluding a Reseller Certification Program across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Puducherry.
These resellers have been selected across various cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Pondicherry, Trivandrum, Cochin and Hyderabad. Antec has started distribution officially in South India in late 2010 via our authorized partners Devraj Computers ( Tamil Nadu, Kerala ) and HDigital Lifestyle ( Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh), and growth has been quite rapid in these regions. Speaking to ‘The DQ Week', Kevan Li, Regional Head, Antec India, said, "We are expecting a 90% growth in this region for 2012 compared with the previous year. Apart from launching some schemes for the resellers and dealers, we will also have branding initiatives in some selected stores who focus on Antec products, to let our customers know that those shops are well connected with the Antec brand. Antec currently has two regional distributors distributing Antec products (all Products including Cases, SMPS, Notebook Accessories like NB Coolers, CPU Coolers, Case Fans, and Cleaning solutions). Below them there are over 30 resellers in the network that re-distribute the entire range of Antec products." Speaking on the schemes, he said, "We have regular Schemes for the channel partners including resellers and dealers together. Recently we have launched a rebate scheme of some percentage back to both resellers and dealers for every purchase of the new BP300P SMPS, and also the newly launched Antec ONE S3 gaming case. Apart from these, the distributors also launch a ‘Buy certain quantity get one free' program in each Quarter. This provides extra support to the channels selling the high quality products at an incredible price value." "We are more focused on the A and B cities currently, and on process to extend our reach to the C and D cities too. We expect to reach to about 50+ resellers by end of 2012. This will expand our network of channels for easier reach of Antec products in every city and town of the region. Antec regional channel managers often travel together with the distributors or resellers to extend such support and build up the confidence to the channels.", he concluded telling on the plans of the company.
