Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 15T Pro and Xiaomi 15T at its global event in Munich. Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ and 8400 Ultra chipsets, the phones feature Leica triple rear cameras, 5,500mAh batteries with IceLoop cooling and IP68 ratings.

Xiaomi launches 15T Pro and Xiaomi 15T in Munich with new features

Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship smartphones - the Xiaomi 15T Pro and Xiaomi 15T at a global event in Munich on September 24. Both devices arrive with MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, Leica-engineered triple rear cameras and large 5,500mAh batteries, positioning them as premium contenders in the Android ecosystem.

The higher-end Xiaomi 15T Pro is powered by the new Dimensity 9400+ processor, while the standard 15T runs on the Dimensity 8400 Ultra. Both models come with Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop thermal management system and carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Pricing and availability

In the UK, the Xiaomi 15T Pro is priced from GBP 649 (approx. Rs 77,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option. Higher storage configurations — 512GB and 1TB — are available for GBP 699 (approx. Rs 83,000) and GBP 799 (approx. Rs 99,000) respectively. Colour options include Black, Grey and Mocha Gold.

The Xiaomi 15T starts at GBP 549 (approx. Rs 65,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model, while a 512GB variant is also listed. It comes in Black, Grey and Rose Gold finishes.

Xiaomi 15T Pro: performance and optics

The 15T Pro runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2 and sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED LIPO display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Under the hood, it packs the 3nm Dimensity 9400+ chip paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

The highlight is the Leica-branded triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP Light Fusion 900 sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. On the front sits a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, GPS, NavIC and USB Type-C, while security is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor and AI-powered face unlock. The 5,500mAh battery supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device measures 162.7×77.9×7.96mm and weighs 210g.

Xiaomi 15T: streamlined flagship experience

The standard 15T shares much of the Pro model’s software, display technology and front camera. However, its AMOLED panel supports refresh rates up to 120Hz instead of 144Hz. Powered by the Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, it comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Its Leica-tuned triple camera array features a 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. Like the Pro, it offers IP68 protection, Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop cooling system and identical connectivity options.

The 15T also packs a 5,500mAh battery but supports 67W wired charging without wireless charging capability. Slightly lighter than its sibling, it weighs 194g and measures 163.2x78.0x7.5mm.

Both devices also feature Xiaomi Astral Communications, enabling voice calls without relying on cellular or Wi-Fi networks, a feature aimed at improving connectivity in remote areas.
