Dealers Association has started off with their eighth IT expo PC
Utsav (an IT exhibition) between January 21-24 in Amravati. Previous
year, ACDA displayed as many as 30 stalls, and 12 pavilions were put
up for the vendors. However, this year, as many as 30 stalls and 40
pavilions will be displayed during the exhibition, that will see
participation from over 40 members. Sharing further information,
Nitin Anafane, President, ACDA stated, “We are expecting a footfall
of 80,000 to one lakh this time, since this is one of the major
events held in the city. The main sponsor for the event is Dell and
the co-sponsors include Supercomp and Quickheal. The motive of the
exhibition is to target the education sector as we feel we need to
give a push to increase the importance of education in our city.”

The event, aimed
at bringing industry and business professionals on a common platform,
is growing beyond the dimensions and is attracting not only the who's
who of the industry but is also defining what future will be. “The
main objective to hold this exhibition is to create a platform for
the industry to address the audience on new products, brand
awareness, enter the market, appoint new dealers/distributors,
networking opportunity and also meet end consumers,” added Anafane.
Also Airtel, the telecom biggie will be launching its new set of
products, Britel which includes IT products like the cabinets,
keyboards, mouse etc.

The
inauguration for the PC Utsav will be done by a common man among the
crowd because we feel that benefits of IT should reach the common
man,” said Anafane.
