Chennai-based AmitySoft Technologies, a software product development company and quality management services consultant, is in the process of launching a delivery system software which allows users to integrate workflow with quality process in the development of any solution. Already, the company has launched the beta version of the product and it claims the product is to be the first-of-its-kind in the market. "We have not identified any name for the product at present and it's an independent solution where buyers can customize the product based on the requirements," said K Ramesh, Director - Marketing & Delivery, AmitySoft Technologies Pvt Ltd.

Last year, the company had launched a human resource management software-Yomx, for which presently the company is looking for a national level software distributor partner with a well-established network in the market. "We already have a business representative in Bangalore and a business associate in the US known as Differ Inc," said

Ramesh.

The company plans to market the new product on its own as it is not an off-the-shelf solution model. "For the first time, a product like this is going to be available in the market which needs better understanding of the solution before marketing. Moreover, it is like a concept selling where the manufacturer's presence is needed," he said. According to the company, the delivery system solution allows integration of workflow with quality process at every stage. "This ensures quality of the product (when under development) at every stage which gives advantages such as quicker turnaround time, easy audit, cost efficiency, time-to-market for the customers," explained

Ramesh.

The company claims for exclusiveness in training certified quality analysts at the retail level. "We have also instituted some awards for the best performing students," Ramesh added.

AmitySoft has registered a turnover of Rs 2 crore in the last fiscal and is working towards achieving Rs 6 crore (turnover) by March 2002.
