Amit Shah becomes new president of FITAG

A new leadership has taken a charge of Federation of Information Technology Associations of Gujarat (FITAG). Amit Shah, owner of Desh Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (abs Infotel) has been elected as the new president of FITAG. The federation elected the new office bearers in its AGM organized recently.

Talking about his new responsibility, Amit Shah said, “My first task will be maintaining the unity among the parent associations.  Also, I will focus on creating a common platform where all the associations in Gujarat will come together and put their opinion.”

Mr Shah said that he would also emphasis on creating awareness about the new age technologies among the channel partners.

“IT is a field which witnesses constant changes. Earlier, there was only IT. Then it became IT and Telecom and now we are in the era of IT, Telecom and Mobility. We will have to change according to technology changes and adapt new trends in the IT industry”, Shah said.

FITAG has constituted five zonal committees, namely North Gujarat, South Gujarat, Saurashtra, Kutch-Bhuj and Kutch Mundra to penetrate into deeper pockets across the regions.

The other office bearers include: Pranav Parikh of Desktop Creators as vice president, Vinod Patel of Keval Infocom Pvt Ltd as general secretary, Gaurang Desai of Blumax System as general secretary, Narendra Bhetaria of Harsh Systems Pvt Ltd as joint secretary, Dipal Shah of Dazzle Computer Media as treasurer and Bhavesh Dave of Shreeji Infotech as joint  treasurer.

FITAG is an umbrella body of total 29 IT associations across the Gujarat. The federation represents more than 3500 IT partners across the state.
