Even though myth is that laptops are going to eat over the sale of desktop market, AMD firmly believes that desktops will survive in future however, not as it is, but in a different forms.

AMD has extended its graphics and compute leadership with Elite-A series desktop APUs. The A-series, codenamed ‘Richland' is likely to deliver a superior PC solution with increased computational performance, discrete-level graphics and an easy upgrade infrastructure.
