Amazon India celebrates festive spirit

Amazon India has announced limited-period special Diwali offers for Amazon.in customers on Kindle e-readers and Kindle Fire HD 8.9" tablets.

While Kindle e-readers price has been reduced from Rs.5,999 to Rs.4,999, the 16 GB Kindle Fire HD 8.9" tablet is now available at a new price point of Rs.17,999, reduced from the earlier Rs. 21,999. Also the 32GB Kindle Fire HD 8.9", which is priced at Rs.25,999, is now available at Rs. 21,999.

The offers are valid November 1, 2013 only for purchases made online from www.amazon.in.

The announcement, timed with the shopping and gifting season, makes the Kindle e-readers and Kindle Fire HD 8.9" even more attractive to customers in India.
