Alok Bharadwaj, Obama, among top 100 powerful personalities

Alok Bharadwaj, senior VP, Canon India and president Manufacturer's Association of IT Industry (MAIT), is among the top 100 global people influencing electronics manufacturing services (EMS) in 2012.

The list prepared by UK based portal VentureOutsourcing.com includes the likes of US President Barack Obama, Tim Cook of Apple, Michael Dell of Dell and Anand Sharma, Indian minister of commerce.

When contacted, Bharadwaj on this accomplishment said, "India is being considered as trying hard to attract global electronics manufacturing and they probably felt, my role in MAIT and my involvement in various platforms might help."

The company Venture Outsource, LLC, announced the list which also includes: Terry Guo of Foxconn that manufactures iPhone, John Chambers of Cisco, Dilma Rousseff and President of Brazil.
