Allied Telesyn is pulling all stops to expand its pre-sence in India. In a
bid to reach out to the end-user, the com-pany has rolled out an initiative
called 'Inner Circle' offering potential customers the exper-tise to plan,
design, implement and support intelligent net-working solutions.
Inner Circle was rolled out in eight cities in B and C class towns in India.
The program, which was rolled out in February 15, has been held in Madurai,
Cochin, Kolkata, Bhubhaneshwar, Lucknow, Chandigarh and Pune.
Rajesh Sahore, Country Manager for India who was in Pune to roll out the
initiative for prospective customers, is pretty happy with the res-ponse.
"A forum is also available for the Inner Circle members to discuss and sort
out various issues," he said.
The company has been present in the Indian market for the last six years.
However, it still needs to be pushed. The Inner Circle initiative is also an
effort to build brand visibility and also make it easier for partners to
position the brand.
Some of the benefits that the Inner Circle members receive include the True
Buy-Back option for phasing out old technologies. Customers are also entitled to
training prog-rams. The effort is targeted towards the SMB segment.
In the last eight months, Allied began an Alliances pro-gram for its channel
partners at three levels-associate, sil-ver and gold. The key benefits include
lead generations to partners, participating in campaigns and price discounts.
