Kerala's apex IT association will host South India IT Association on 10th May 2014. The event will be attended by Confed-IT (Tamilnadu), Twin Cities Computer Dealers' Association (Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh) and AIT (Bangalore, Karnataka).
Ajimon George, State Gen. Secretary, AKITDA, said, "The SIITA will discuss and finalize many crucial decisions in the IT industry of south India for the coming years". This includes the online channel scenario and the measures taken and would be taken by state associations in future.
On next day AKITDA will also be conducting its annual general body meeting and elect the new office bearers for 2014-15. From Morning onwards Dealers from various places of Kerala will pour in and assemble at Mamman Mappila Hall Kottayam.
General Body will start at 2.00 pm; Election of New President and his team will follow.The new president elected will announce the team and plans for the year 2014-16. A grand rally is organized and dealers will make a procession towards the convention center through the heart of the Kottayam City at 4.30 pm.
The Main event State Convention-2014 will start at 5.30 PM. Hon. Chief Minister of Kerala Sri. OommanChandy inaugurate the function. Charity Welfare Program "Snehasparasham" and Organ Donation Consent Camp will be inaugurated by Hon. Finance Minister Sri. KM Mani. Revenue Minister Sri. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, and Member of Parliament Sri. Jose K Mani are some of the dignitaries who had consented to grace this occasion.
