The All Kerala Information Technology Dealers Association (AKITDA) has planned to conduct the elections for a new president in the last week of May.
The association is one of the largest in the country and has 14 district units. Speaking to ‘The DQ Week', John Kottara, PRO, AKITDA, said, "We have decided to conduct the association polls for which all our district units will elect the state council by the end of April. By the end of May, AKITDA will conduct a state convention meet in which the new office bearers will assume office."
John further said that the polls will completely be in the lines of democracy.
Even though there is no official announcement about the new president, buzz is that the he might be elected from the central part of Kerala.
