All Kerala IT Dealers' Association (AKITDA) recently, held an office bearers meeting at Changanacherry-- a municipal town in Kottayam district in Kerala to discuss on issues and problems of the members.
One of the main agenda was to discuss and assess the work of each district-currently 14 under the ambit of AKITDA-and put forward the ways to implement the regulations.
Speaking to The DQ Week, AKITDA state PRO John Kotara mentioned that the association is very strict on the day-to-day workings of the district units. He added that some districts have kept up with our operational standards and added, "We have identified that out of 14 districts, three are lagging behind in terms of meetings, members activity etc. We have given them time for a proper functioning. We will verify the updates in the next meeting."
He, however, did not mention the three district units lagging behind. AKITDA is also planning to organize a state council meeting comprising all 14 districts in the month of December. The association is also going to hold the annual general election in the year 2014.
