The Association of Information Technology, Bengaluru, has planned to conduct its annual cricket series during the middle of May.
Speaking to The DQ Week, V Anantharam, VP, AIT said, "It is an annual series and this is the fourth year that we are conducting this cricket tournament following the success of previous years. Right now, we have 30 teams with us which are formed by the members of the association. We are expecting more members to participate this year."
Anantharam further said that this is an opportunity for all the members of the association to exhibit unity and team spirit on-field. Speaking about the participation of vendors he said that the vendors can also participate in the tournaments as
a team. "Last year, there were 32 teams and this year we are expecting even more teams to come up," he concluded.
The matches are supposed to be played on alternate Sundays of May (20 and 27).
