AIT conducts seminar on opportunities in SMEs

Association of Information Technology, Bengaluru recently conducted a session on the leadership challenges and opportunities in the SME sector. This is the second fellowship meeting after the new Committee of AIT Bengaluru assumed office. KK Shetty, director, India and Saarc, enterprise and telecom networks, TE Connectivity India was the spokesperson.

Nalin Patel, president, AIT welcomed the gathering and proposed that AIT should come to the aid of those who may need funds in a medical emergency. The details would be worked out soon and presented to the members, he further added. He said that integrity, intent, capabilities and results are the four cores of credibility.

Shetty referred to Eric Weihenmayer who reached the top of Mount Everest on 25 May 2001. The special fact about this feat was that Eric is blind, and yet he did it. Shetty then went on to explain various aspects of leadership in terms of habits, values, principles, trust, etc.

The event was sponsored by Samsung. Samsung showcased their large format professional displays and through an informative presentation Uma Shankar of Samsung explained the various details of LFDs and urged the channel community to pitch in LFDs in various verticals. An interesting demonstration was also given by Samsung.
