Airtel offers Blackberry

Airtel has announced the launch of Blackberry wireless solutions in India.
The launch is a result of an exclusive tie up between Bharti Tele-Ventures and
Research in Motion, the makers of Blackberry platform.

With this launch, Airtel customers can access a range of applications
including instant email, Internet, SMS, and a host of personal infor-mation.
Currently, Blackberry would be available for Indian customers in 13 cities
through Airtel connect outlets. Airtel would also be targeting the enterprise
customers through the Blackberry enterprise server. There are three hand-sets
models currently being offered, Blackberry 7730, 7230, and 6230.
