Agreement strengthening MSMEs: CeBIT India and STPI join hands

PM Modi’s ‘Make in India’ campaign is already making noise with institutions forming alliance

 

CeBIT India has announced its strategic partnership with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an automation society under Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. STPI works to promote the software industry and is committed to drive the Make in India vision. The event will provide opportunity to interact with industry stalwarts as well as key players in the Indian IT/ICT ecosystem.

As a part of alliance CeBIT and STPI have signed MoU which will allow 100 Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) pan India to showcase their products in STPI pavilion, at CeBIT India event. The event has been scheduled for November 12-14, 2014 in International Exhibition Centre, (BIEC), Bangalore. This is the first CeBIT India event which has given MSMEs a chance along with which 10 MSMEs will be chosen to represent the country at CeBIT Hannover 2015.

Commenting on the partnership, Mehul Lanvers-Shah, MD, Hannover Fairs India said, “We are excited to unite with STPI for promoting the Indian MSME sector. CeBIT India aims for showcasing new perspectives in IT business and will cover the key IT trends of cloud computing, strategic big data, enterprise mobility and social media. It is dedicated to boost business in the Indian IT/ITes by creating a platform for new national and international business opportunities, drive new ideas, profitability and growth.
