Kolkata-based Advance Management was recently honored by
Microsoft with the MS Retail Center Gold Member status. Advance is the only
channel partner from Eastern India to have gained this prestigious stature from
the internaÂtional software giant. Sanjay Chhajer, Director, Advance Management
is also very positive about the new MS Office Student and Teacher edition. This
latest offering from Microsoft issues license for non-commercial use for up to
three home PCs and offers the full-featured versions of all the programs.
“People still can't afford
the original version of MS Office due to its high cost factor. But with the
launch of this product the common man can also afford it for their home use,”
said Chhajer.
The pack comes at a price of Rs 6,000 for the end users.
For channel partners it comes at a special price. “We are also running a good
scheme for our partners. With every ten packs we are giving one free. That will
give him the chance to earn a good margin,” informed Chhajer. Advance ManageÂment
is distributing the proÂduct in Eastern India incluÂding Bengal, Guwahati,
BhubaÂneswar, Patna etc. “In the last one month, since the product was
launched we have sold about 200 units,” he concluded.
