Aditya Infotech, a leading distributor for multimedia soluÂtions,
is now getting aggresÂsive with its volume products from Typhoon. The company,
which signed up for exclusive distribution of Typhoon products about six-eight
months back, was keeping a low-profile till now for some internal reasons.
"Now, we are ready to splash the market with Typhoon range of keyboards,
SMPS, cabinets, TV tuner cards, speakers, gaming devices and internal cards,
among others. Typhoon is a German brand popular across the world-mainly in
Europe and South Asia. We are confident of making it big in India too,"
said Syed Ishaq Ahmed, Director, Aditya Infotech, who is in-charge for the
Andhra Pradesh market.
The company wants to expand its channel network across the
country, with a special focus on upcountry markets. It is planning to scale up
its authorized dealer base from present 500 to 700, in the next few months.
"In south, we will increase our focus in upcountry markets such as
Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Mangalore, Belgaum, Hubli,
Gulbarga, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Rajamundry, Warangal and Anantpur, to name
a few. We will appoint one dealer in each of these places," he detailed.
Aditya Infotech has 22 branches across the country and
distributes products from Pinnacle, AverMedia, BenQ and Discreet. "Typhoon
and BenQ are volume games," quipped Ahmed.
In the next stage, Aditya would add PDAs, DVD players and
laser mouse from Typhoon series.
