Aditya Infotech Ltd is undertaking an aggressive exercise to push the Asus brand in the market. The exercise is also aimed at creating a greater mindshare for the brand within the reseller community. The company is presently distributing Asus motherboards, VGA cards, CD ROM drives, DVD drives, CR RW drives and mouse.
"Our focus on marcom activities for the brand will be increased manifold," said Rajeev Mahajan, Business Manager, Aditya Infotech Ltd. The distributor has 300 dedicated Asus partners besides 1000-odd resellers throughout the country. "The number of resellers is also being expanded to reach 1400 to 1500 mark within the next quarter," Mahajan informed. The number of dedicated Asus partners will also be increased to 500 in this period.
Aditya has started special tactical bundling schemes that will run from five to 30 days. The bundles will include gifts and offers on the purchase of a predefined mix of Asus products. A Rs 5 lakh order of the predefined mix of Asus products will get the dealer gifts worth Rs 40,000.
While Asus contributes Rs 75 lakh - Rs 80 lakh per month in revenues, the next three months are slated for a quantum jump in the figure. "We have targeted a turnover of Rs 2 crore by the end of the next three months."
Also on the anvil are various new products in the first half of September, the foremost being a motherboard based on the new Intel 845B chipset. Aditya is planning roadshows and seminars for the product in six major cities in the next three months.
