All Delhi Computer Traders Association (ADCTA) acknowledges the sincere endeavours of Hon’ble Sh. Arvind Kejriwal for intensifying their requests concerning to E-way Bill issue by exempting the bill for Business to Consumer (B2C).
Since the E-way bill was introduced, nearly every business entrepreneur (dealer/retailers) bore losses in the business on account of confusion in respect to requisite bill for invoice more than 50,000/-. This created a huge disorder among the business traders that caused huge business loss, which eventually led to a loss in revenue for the Government.
ADCTA requested Government of Delhi on April 2, 2018, for exemption of E-way Bill from Business to Consumer (B2C). And further, within a short span of time (less than 50 days) Hon’ble CM of Delhi accepted the association’s request and exempted the E-way Bill for B2C through a notification on F.No. 3(163)/Policy-GST.2018/298-307 dated 15-06-2018.
According to the notification, goods moving within the state of Delhi and valued at less than 1 lakh will be exempted from the E-way bill. This change has come into effect from 16 June 2018. This response by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal gave a huge sigh of relief to All Traders of Delhi.
Thus, the quick action of Hon’ble CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal Ji again documents their commitment and understanding of problems of the dealer/traders.
In the same proximity, ADCTA also requested Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narinder Modi to issue relief for traders/dealer of pan India by exempting E-way bill for Business to Consumer (B2C). In anticipation that a prompt action will be taken by Prime Minister Sh. Modi too.
