OLS challenged traditional market which led to mass demonstrations, bandhs and much more. Partners aggressively fought against this and are still fighting.

During this phase All Delhi Computers Traders Association (ADCTA) sent a letter to CBI to inquire against the OLS portals. Through the letter dealers wanted to know more about unethical practices and huge disparity in discounts given online while the traditional market was barely surviving now on lower margins.

Letter raised issues on motive of OLS and mal practices involved. In order to protect distributors/dealers/revenue of Government of India /consumers, ADCTA requested CBI other concerned appropriate authorities to take appropriate steps and submitted several documents as evidence for conducting inquiry.

After studying the letter CBI sent this inquiry to Ministry of Corporate Affairs which later passed it to Competition Commission of India (CCI).
