Adcom to venture into PCs

Delhi-based Adcom is contem-plating about venturing into PCs. "After the
encouraging duty reduction on components from 16 percent to zero, we are
thinking about moving into PCs as well," revealed Sanjeev Bhatia, Director,
Adcom.

He further added, "But we won’t be importing then. Rather, we will
manufacture then locally, which will be more economical for us. It’s but
natural that if we move into PCs, we will also start dealing with the other com-ponents.
We want to bring out a utility PC which is de-cently priced."
