ADATA
Technology is planning to expand its present channel strength in the
country by the end of this fi scal. The company intends to penetrate
into the class B and C cities. “We are bullish about the year 2012
in terms of thesales of products through our channel partners in the
Indian market. By the end of this year, we will be appointing more
300 partners to our existing dedicated partner base,” said Chris
Chang, MD, ADATA Technology India.
Currently,the
company
has about 500 channel partners in India. Continuously working
towards making the marketing strategy more aggressive and effective,
ADATA has decided to focus on South and West regions of the country.
It already has a strong market presence in the East and North
regions. It plans to encourage its partners' adherence in the
Indian market with its new products. “With this initiative, we plan
to enter aggressively into the non-metro and upcountry regions. We
also want to create more sales opportunities for the company besides
establishing a more personal channel of communication as well,”
added Chang.
When asked
about the main objective of the company regarding its operations in
India, Chang informed that ADATA has always focused on building brand
and increasing its visibility through conscious association with its
channel partners. Besides expanding its channel network in India,
ADATA is also organizing a lot of channel engagement programs to
continuously ensure regular feedback from the dealers.
While
talking
about the business plans, Chang concluded, “Seeing growth of our
products' sale in India, we are planning to open a branch office in
Bengaluru after 1 year.”
